The Fundraising and Communications team manages relationships across our community to raise the vital funds and awareness needed to contribute to the cost of our care. Our supporters are dedicated, committed and extremely generous in the multitude of waysthat they support our charityThe Fundraising Support Administrator/Officer (FSO) provides administrative support for this busy but friendly and supportive team.Fundraising Support OfficerJob Ref: KF639484CamFSOLocation: Cambridge, CB22Salary: £19,925 to £20,500 Per AnnumType of contract: PermanentHours: 37.5 per weekThe role holder is an important part of the supporter journey and is responsible for recording donations, event payments, sponsorship and supporter information on the donorflex database. Training will be given to ensure that all transactions are processedaccurately, procedures are followed, and donations are thanked in a timely manner. The FSO will also work with the Finance team to reconcile transactions and with the Fundraising Support Manager to provide colleagues with the information needed for supportermailings and for reporting on appeals and event activity.Keen attention to detail, the ability to follow procedures and accurate databasing are key requirements for the role. As the FSO will need to communicate with colleagues across the charity, as well as our supporters, volunteers and donors, excellent writtenand verbal communication skills are important. A good understanding of Excel and its functions is desirable to manage the exchange of data between a variety of online platforms and the donorflex database as well as the production of reports.This role is full-time and based at the Hospice in Cambridge.Closing Date: Wednesday, October 12, 2022Please note that the salary quoted is based on full time hours and needs to be pro-ratad for part time posts.
