Job Description

Fantastic opportunity for a Framework Support PersonMy Award winning Construction Client is currently looking for a Framework Support Person to complement and support their strong pre-construction team and to assist the Framework Manager in providing their direct and indirect clients with the services requiredon the many frameworks which we are involved with. Currently they work across 21 regional and 11 national frameworks, all in the east of England.For this role you will need to be ambitious, self-motivated and able to work both independently and within our team of like-minded individuals. You will have excellent communication skills, both verbally and written, and you will need to hold a clean drivinglicense and be prepared to travel from time to time throughout our operating area.The successful candidate needs to be efficient and resourceful, with an invaluable set of interpersonal and problem-solving skills and the flexibility to adapt to fast paced, ever- changing environments. You need to be a conscientious, organised and a pro-activeteam player, highly motivated and committed to achieving company targets and always focused on the task in hand. You should be able to use your initiative and prioritise effectively to meet tight deadlines, working independently or as part of a team.The role will ideally suit someone from an administration, marketing or business development or bid leading background, not necessarily from a main contractor background, perhaps from a subcontractor’s background.The Framework Support Person Role:-

  • The Framework Assistant will support the Framework Manager in developing an operational programme of work on a variety of Frameworks in line with the Company’s strategic objectives and its Vision, Mission and Values. They will be responsible for helpingmonitor and audit the frameworks, engaging in business improvement programmes and establishing and meeting customer needs.
  • Champion the Client Framework strategy internally and externally
  • Achieve key gateways and KPIs for the Frameworks
  • Identify and capture company differentiators on the Frameworks.
  • Help support the successful rebid of our Frameworks from day one.
  • Help our Framework Manager in managing all national frameworks within the group and review strategically the business opportunities from each framework.
  • To ensure that we respond to all framework objectives, KPI’s and reports.
  • To ensure that we keep a close relationship with the framework contacts.
  • To ensure that we continually develop the workings of our business to suit the framework requirements and emerging legislative requirements.
  • To inform and upskill people within each operating company on how framework bids are to be implemented.
  • To help manage the clients’ expectations and ensure that we are meeting all required KPI’s and milestones.
  • Producing Tender / Proposal Documents
  • Writing narrative and completing Pre-Qualification Framework Questionnaires
  • Liaising with clients via email and telephone
  • Working alongside the Pre-contract team to identify new work opportunities and create initial marketing responses.
  • Updating web-enabled databases so that information can be seen and shared throughout the Group.
  • Helping creating presentations and proposal documents
