A Local Authority based in Cambridgshire is looking for a qualified Environmental Health Officer to join their Environmental Health Department as a Food Safety Officer.This is a full time, temporary role and ideal candidate will ideal hold a certificate of registration with EHORB/EHRB and will have completed Food Hygiene inspections for a Local Authority.The purpose of the role is to help the local authority with a backlog of Food Hygiene Inspections.The post holder will be required to undertake remote interventions and carry out food hygiene inspections according to risk and in accordance with statutory requirements, national guidance, Council policy and service delivery plans.The ideal candidate must meet the requirements of the Food Standards Agencys Code of Practice to undertake food hygiene enforcement.A copy of relevant qualifications, CPD certificates and certificates of registration with EHORB/EHRB will be required.The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering between £26 - £30 p/hour Umbrella Ltd (approx. £640 - £720p/week NET after deductions) dependant on experience and qualifications.
