Ashley Kate UK are pleased to be supporting our well established and well known global manufacturing & technology client in the search for a new Financial Accountant for their site based in Cambridge.The new Financial Accountant will play a vital role in the continued growth of the business and will report into the Group Financial Controller.You must be a qualified CIMA, ACCA or ACA accountant with 3 years PQEund in manufacturing.The Financial Accountant responsibilities will include;Management of Group Consolidation models for review by Group FC -Flash / Actuals / Forecasts / Budgets and PlanAddition of detailed Revenue / Gross Margin analysisSensitivity analysis (volume changes / FX rate changes/ other)Consolidation responsibility of the group of companiesTimely completion / submission of Group KPIs and review of Divisional KPIsTransfer pricing –review existing processes and work with external advisers to propose updates / changesAudit support as required including preparation of Consolidated notes for Group IFRS accountsInsurance information for annual renewal – leasing with all divisions to put data sheets together based on next years’ budget or draft budgetAssistance to Group FC with weekly Cash Flow preparation forex management / hedging reportingWeekly Outlook preparationInformation for UK and US Tax returnsInvestigate a new overlay reporting system – ERP agnostic and propose options for considerationReview and update Group Accounting Manual for final review by Group FCSupport the Company’s compliance with the Data Protection Act 2018, following policy and best practiceUndertake any other duties or activities reasonably requested in order to meet departmental or company goalsThe Financial Accountant will need;Experience in a group consolidation environmentExperience in consolidation and year-end accounts preparation under IFRS.
