Job Description

Reporting to the CFO and working within the educational sector, this is a Finance Manager role with a difference. If you want your job to not only challenge you but provide a purpose and be satisfying, then this could be the perfect role for you. Key aspectsto the role will include:* Staff management, mentoring and development of a small team* Monthly management accounts including ensuring all journals have been posted correctly, bank and balance sheet reconciliations have been done correctly* Financial year end accounting* Cashflow* Budgetting which includes liaising with Heads of Departments* Variance analysis of key overheads* Improving and developing systems and procedures* Overview and understanding of payroll* Financial analysisIn order to be successful in applying for this Finance Manager role, it must be clear from your CV that you have had relevant experience of the above. In particular, you must have strong people management skills. Ideally you will have used Sage 200 althoughthis is not essential. You will also ideally have had some internal or external auditing experience in order to improve systems and procedures within the department.
