We encourage our people to think differently and our inclusive culture of continuous learning and collaboration make Mundipharma a great placeto work.Job DescriptionWorking in BARD Manufacturing, for Head of Financial Control & Business partnering, the Finance Business Partner will support the Finance team in providing support, insight and analysis for the Manufacturing site.The individual will work closely with team across the network, including Production, Engineering, Quality, Technical programme management as well as interfacing into supporting finance functions (FSSC and Group finance).The Finance Business Partner will play an integral part in supporting the Tech Ops finance team in delivering timely delivery of month end reporting as well as playing a major part in forecasting and budgeting cycles.Business partnering / Decision support

• Support the Head of Financial Control and Business Partnering, manufacturing in the delivery of an on-time and accurate 5-year budget plan.
• Provide business partnering, performance management and decision support across the functions within manufacturing:
• Responsible for delivery of Month end BS / Cashflow / Capex reporting as well as delivering key initiatives and reporting on improvements to working capital.
• Responsibility for tracking and reporting on key projects / programmes of work
• Deliver the 5-year Technical Operations capex budget plan.
• Partner with the business to deliver the Technical Operations capex budget plan.
• Deliver financial presentations to the Bard Leadership Team and Capital Appraisal Board.
• Identify all savings initiatives and drive delivery of savings.
• Partner with the business to deliver the business strategy and decision support;

Financial management

• Deliver against the Financial plan for Technical Operations: Cost of Goods Sold, Inventory, Savings, Opex, FTE, Restructuring, balance sheet.
• Assist Head of Financial Control in leading month end close for Technical Operations finance team
• Assist Head of Financial Control in managing and delivering budgeting and forecasting cycles across the year
• Meet all budget and monthly deadlines.
• Provide clear and accurate monthly performance management updates.

Balance sheet / cash management

• Partner with FSSC to deliver accurate, timely balance sheets and capex reporting
• Review and oversight for entity reporting, including statutory reviews, cashflow submissions

Adhoc

• Benchmark performance against external KPIs.
• Ensure compliance in terms of meeting deadlines, application of policies and procedures etc.
• Participate in projects that drive Mundipharmas change programValue Acceleration

Working Cross-Functionally

• Work closely in teams across all functions (e.g. China Plant, Commercial CMO capex, Central Finance, Technical Operations Programme Management, Foundation) to ensure data is complete, consistent, accurate and aligned and that it is handled efficiently andeffectively to avoid duplication or gaps in the analysis performed to assist the business in making the right decisions.

Procedures

• Understand the nature, operation and strategy of the organisation and continuously drive for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with the structure of the Network of IACs, especially around sharing of data and information.

Qualifications

• Recognised Accountancy Qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or local equivalent)
• Ability to work effectively within a complex management matrix structure.
• Must possess "soft skills": conflict resolution and negotiation, personal effectiveness, creative problem solving, strategic thinking, team building, and influencing skills.
• High level of commitment and flexibility, poise, communication and teamwork skills
