I am recruiting for a Building Services Manager to oversee the running & facilities maintenance of a large university laboratory As Building Services Manager, you will be responsible for the maintenance of plant and complex equipment that services and runs this site. As a large majority of this plant is over 15 years old, it is essential that you have a good understanding of reactive, planned and pro-active preventative maintenance. You will also be responsible for the portable appliance testing of laboratory equipment, so must be able to show relevant industry qualifications.You will be responsible for a team of 4 maintenance staff, ensuring that all maintenance is carried out swiftly and accurately. As manager, you will also be responsible for all training, coaching & staff reviews.You will have experience working with chiller units, ventilation systems, AHU systems, medical gasses, boilers and electrical systems. As part of your role you will be required to write and review all risk assessments and current SOP manualsThis role comes with amazing university career progression opportunities, a great salary of up to £35,000 bonus and the opportunity for a temp to perm progression.
