Job Description

Facilities Management Engineer required in Waterbeach. Immediate start, scheduled start also available. Up to £40,000 per annum. Free on-site parking. also accessible via public transport.Salary: £35,000 - £40,000Working days: Monday to FridayShifts: 08:00 am to 5:00 pmMain Responsibilities:

  • To undertake heating engineering & plumbing duties including reactive repairs, servicing of gas and oil boilers, fires and other appliances, installations, and associated works.
  • To undertake the installation of new domestic heating systems in accordance with the manufacturers instructions, industry best practice codes and practice and
  • To issue notices and certificates required by the relevant regulations relating to gas safety.
  • PPM of building and plant equipment, mechanical and electrical
  • Responding to breakdowns and diagnosing faults when working as aFacilities Management Engineer
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation and current regulations
Candidate Skills / Qualifications & Experience:
  • Have a proven track record to reflect appropriate trade experience as a Maintenance Engineer
  • Minimum of either full trade Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 2 within a relevant trade OR a proven track record to reflect appropriate trade experience.
  • Experience working with and maintaining building management systems (BMS)
  • Experience in maintaining mechanical and electrical plant equipment when working as aFacilities Management Engineer
  • Ability to demonstrate technical skills in both core trade and associated trades.
  • Ability to display excellent Customer Service skills both internally and externally, generating a positive working environment.
  • Ability to work with plans and schedules.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of Health and Safety regulations
  • Good work ethic when working as aFacilities Management Engineer
  • Full UK Drivers License
