Events & Sponsorship Manager Term:Permanent - Initially Office based role possibility of Hybrid modelWorking Hours:Full-time / 37.50 hoursSalary:Location:Up to £40kBased in Cambridge, Chelmsford, Ipswich, or Norwich. (Travel required to all offices)Our client is recruiting for a forward thinking, creative and articulate Events and Sponsorship Manager to join the growing BD, Marketing and PR team, on a full-time permanent basis. Reporting into the Head of Business Development, the role can be basedat any one of the locations mentioned above, with travel expected between all. (Travel expenses covered travelling to other offices). AccountabilitiesResponsible for the planning, implementation, management and measurement of events and sponsorships across the firm.Marketing and Campaign Plans - Working closely with practice, sector and sales team leads and with the Head of Business Development to develop and execute measurable BD & Marketing plans.Events & Sponsorships - Designing and managing the event and sponsorship schedule and event resource across all offices. Working with stakeholders to identify and plan activity in line with BD & Marketing strategy.Measurement - Managing, monitoring, and reporting on the effectiveness and ROI of events & sponsorship in particular through post-activity reports to team leaders and monthly reports to the management board.Budget - Setting, managing and reconciling expenditure in relation to events and promotional materials in line with agreed budgets.People - Managing the events team in relation to workload, personal development, quality, and outputs.Data - Leading the events team in the ongoing capture, cleansing, maintenance, and enhancement of data for clients, targets, and intermediaries on the CRM system and in accordance with GDPR requirementsBrand Implementation - Working closely with the Brand team to implement brand assets ensuring they are fit for purpose, attractive to key target audiences and represent Birketts as a high-quality law firm with regional, national, and internationalexpertise.Skills and Experience Needed: The candidate needs to have experience and working knowledge of Desktop Publishing(preferably InDesign) and campaign management systems Project management skills, including the ability to manage a budget Excellent proof reading and copywriting skills Expert in Microsoft Office and Outlook with a high level of attention to detail and organisational skills Flexible and adaptable around working hours Ability to work calmly under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
