Job Description

This opportunity of Engineering Technician offers plenty of flexibility. You can take the early or the late shift, working Monday to Friday and both shifts are subject to a pay uplift. The company is based on Cambridge Science Park and pridesitself in being a friendly and welcoming place to work, alongside developing your career. The many people who have worked there years and years are testament to this.This is a hands-on position where you will collaborate with the wider engineering team. You will have the opportunity to make some important contributions to the companys astonishing nanotechnology products! Were looking for someone who will fit in withthis genuinely happy bunch who enjoy helping each other out to all achieve good results.The Role:You will join a small team providing support for optical and electrical testing, supporting the activities of the engineers within the team and proactively contributing to quality control.

  • Perform optical and electrical tests on various devices
  • Report on findings to test team
  • Work with the team to identify ways to improve existing capabilities
  • Contribute to failure analysis of devices under test
About You:
  • Lab, workshop or cleanroom experience carrying out testing
  • Comfortable writing and working with SOPs and tight processes
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience of accurate data collection and recording data
  • Fault finding/problem solving techniques.
  • The ability to understand and interpret engineering terminology
