Job Description

Tomography & Supersensing EngineerCambridge£40,000 - £50,000 paAn Electronics manufacturer in Cambridge are looking for a Tomography & Supersensing Engineer to help with increasing workload as they have seen success from increased product demand.Responsibilities:

  • Improve the EM Tomography prototype using FPGA Implementation using VHDL.
  • Optimise the electromagnetic tomography software.
  • Electromagnetic Sensor design simulation using COMSOL.
  • Design efficient and compact electromechanical guarding of electrodes / coils / transducers
  • Work closely with the Lead Electronics & Lead Software Engineer to Integrate the EM Tomography hardware/firmware/software with other advanced technologies.
  • Carry out flow testing to improve the sensitivity and accuracy of the EM Tomography units.
Key Skills/Experience:
  • Tomography
  • Masters or PhD in Electronic Engineering/Physics or a relevant Engineering Discipline
  • Sensor Design
  • Algorithm development & implementation
  • Signal processing
Non-Essential/Nice to haves:
  • PCB Design
  • Analogue Circuit Design
  • Digital Embedded Systems
  • Embedded Software (Embedded C)
  • MATLAB
