Its Rubbish.Complete and total RubbishThe UK produces over 60 million tonnes of non-recyclable rubbish every year, but your old banana peels and last nights leftovers can be more than just food for the seagulls and rats.Much more.Your waste can now be clean. Thanks to the push for clean energy, the amount of power generated from captured landfill gases has increased hugely over the past decade and there are now hundreds of sites across the UK generating low-carbon power. We all know that Green Energy is the future, and is a sector which has been booming even during the current crisis. In the role of Electrical Technician you would be working for one of the few companies in the UK with a negative carbon footprint, contributing a positive impact towards climate change. You would be covering the South region, which spans from Leicester to Norwich, and from Milton Keynes down to Sevenoaks. You would be dealing with the mainly reactive servicing, fault-finding and repair of a variety of electrical equipment including transformers, generators, switchgear, control panels and protection systems.Training and a company van will be provided, so as long as you have at least a few years electrical maintenance experience ideally within an industry such as power generation, manufacturing, power distribution or steel then you can be considered. This role will offer you the opportunity to work in a diverse, growing, medium-sized business who foster a collaborative approach, with the chance to grow and develop within the company and broaden your skills. The package will be around £30,000 - £38,000 depending on your extent and relevance of experience, plus up to 10% bonus paid on a quarterly basis, a company van which can also be used for personal use and 25 days holiday. If you would like a varied job role where you will be changing the world for the better then please apply for more informationTo find out more about Huxley Engineering, please visit www.huxleyengineering.comHuxley Engineering, a trading division of SThree Partnership LLP is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy | Registered office | 1st Floor, 75 King William Street, London, EC4N 7BE, United Kingdom | Partnership Number | OC387148 England and Wales
