Editorial AdministratorAre you ready to take on a challenging role Are you a born organiser who can hit a deadline every time Is Attention to Detail one of your key skillsThis is an opportunity to work for a busy team who need a candidate to be at the centre of their Editorial process, co-ordinating authors, reviewers and editors and ensuring that the administration process is seamless.Duties include:* Dealing with Pre-submission enquiries* Receipt of new and revised manuscripts - utilising tracking systems and assigning editors* Creation of new databases* Dealing with correspondence to stakeholders* Checking documents and completing file checks* Checking payments and charges* Generating Statistics and Reports* Liaising with board members* Updating Mailing Lists* Monitoring Emails and responding quickly to enquiriesThis role is a full time position and you will be working from home to begin with.Our client is seeking a candidate with previous experience in an office environment - ideally in a publishing or editorial environment. An excellent knowledge of MS Excel is an essential skill as is the ability to pick up database systems quickly.
