Kale & Damson is a privately owned fresh fruit, vegetable, salad, cheese and dairy company that operates out of Papworth Everard, CB23 3GY (20 to 30 minute drive from Cambridge, Bedford and Peterborough locations).We pride ourselves on providing homes and businesses with great quality produce and a great level of customer service. We are looking for drivers to uphold these values alongside us.To our customers, our drivers are the face of Kale & Damson. This is why we are looking for well-presented drivers with a positive attitude and a great work ethic to join our growing team. Due to the nature of the role, you will need to be physically fit and happy to start work early in the morning. Previous driving experience is essential, and experience working in a similar role would be beneficial.We deliver to areas such as Newark, Norwich, Milton Keynes and central London, as well as all around the local area of Cambridgeshire. Knowledge of any or all of these areas would be beneficial, and we would be particularly keen to meet drivers with proven experience of driving in and around London.We are interested in hearing from van drivers, 7.5t drivers and class 2 drivers. All 7.5t and class 2 drivers must have a valid CPC and Digicard.We are always keen to encourage career development and progression from within the organisation to those who are willing to grow with us (we are happy to discuss and demonstrate some clear examples at interview).Benefits• free parking;• uniform provided;• discounted prices for personal produceThe hourly rate for van drivers starts at £9.00, rising to £9.25 after the probationary period.
