Domestic Services Cleaning AssistantStarting Salary £17,219 to £18,123 per annumFull time, 36 hours per weekMRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge, UKThe MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge is an internationally recognised scientific research institution. We recognise the value of good quality cleaners, and employ our own staff to ensure that the work is completed to a high standard.We are looking to recruit one full time Domestic Services Assistant on a permanent basis, to provide an excellent cleaning service to the interior and exterior of the Laboratory of Molecular Biology, Cambridge. Working hours are 36 hours per week, 5.00amto 1.00pm Monday to Thursday, and 5.00am to 11.00am on Fridays.The ideal applicant should be able to work efficiently and effectively independently with minimum supervision. The ability to plan their own workload and adapt to the changing demands of the LMB is important in this role.You should have previous experience within a cleaning role, be computer literate and have used cleaning equipment before.This position would suit applicants who have worked within large teams in a scientific, research or hospital environment.Interviews will be held during the week commencing 22nd November 2021.Final appointments will be subject to a pre-employment screening.The Medical Research Council is an Equal Opportunities Employer who participates in the Disability Confident scheme.
