Development Physicist - Optics and Sensors - CambridgeAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced development physicist to join a new team in Cambridge to work cutting-edge and innovative optical technologies.As a Development Physicist, you will take a hands-on approach to a variety of roles including the design, fabrication and test of complex systems and applications.You will be utilising your physics knowledge and first-principles experience to design the systems and devices as well as completing detailed engineering analysis and running laboratory experiments on your innovations.Because of this we are looking for physicists who love solving highly complex problems on leading edge technology and who enjoy hands-on R&D.The company are well renowned within the marketplace for their training and development and will set you a defined career path to achieve and help you continually develop as a scientist.To be considered for this exciting role you will need to have hands-on R&D experience within a medical devices or life sciences environment with proven expertise in working throughout the R&D process.
