The Trust provides accessible high-quality healthcare for the local people of Cambridge, together with specialist services, dealing with rare or complex conditions for a regional, national and international population.The Cambridge Cancer Trials Centre (CCTC) accommodates around 100 research staff involved in the set-up, coordination and conduct of clinical and translational cancer research and is located in S4 and Coton House at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. The CCTC is led by its Director, Professor Duncan Jodrell (University of Cambridge, Professor of Cancer Therapeutics).You will work as part of the CCTU-Cancer Theme’s Programming team and will work closely with trial teams in order to provide high quality data capture tools suitable for the capture of robust clinical trial data. The team use both off-the-shelf tools as well as bespoke software developed in house. You will have an excellent understanding of Clinical Trials and the associated regulatory requirements of working in the Clinical Trial environment. The key functions of the role are;
