Job Description

Responsible for overseeing the end to end delivery of Data & Analytics products ensuring activity is delivered accordingly to time, cost and quality. Ensure that new products deliver the expected business impact and manage risks and issues effectively asthey occur.Client DetailsA global pharmaceutical company.DescriptionThe key responsibilities for the Data Project Manager include:

  • Build and maintain the overall end-to-end project plan for all data & analytics product delivery
  • Monitors and manages the project to ensure that activities are occurring to plan including scope, budget, and schedule. Proactively manages any variances
  • Manage the resource needs of the project ensuring the team has the appropriate skills and experience in order to successfully deliver against requirements
  • Produce and maintain relevant project management artefacts including status reports, actions log, milestone reports, RAIDS leveraging appropriate project management tooling as appropriate (e.g. Cascade)
  • Identifies potential points of contention for missed deliverables and creates and implements strategies to mitigate any shortfalls
  • Develop and manage plans to address project strengths, weaknesses, opportunities or threats.
  • Balances the application of theoretical project management delivery frameworks with a pragmatic approach to ensuring that work gets done
ProfileThe successful Data Project manager will:
  • Previous experience of performing a project manager role within a Data & Analytics project/team
  • Experience of using JIRA/Confluence or other similar too ls
  • Highly proficient in agile methodologies (Scrum / Kanban)
  • Significant experience in planning and execution of projects involving multiple workstreams and multi-disciplinary teams
  • Experience of working on projects that have involved the introduction of new products/ways of working or driving significant organisational change
  • Significant experience with risk and issues management
  • Knowledge of Data & Analytics methodologies and approaches
  • Experience of delivery Enterprise-scale Data & Analytics projects
  • Highly numerate with strong financial management
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to discover and interpret business change requirements
  • Experience of working with third party vendors/consultancy organisations as part of extended project teams
  • Energetic and self-motivated
  • Excellent presentation & oral communication skills.
  • Proficient in English language, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work well in and across diverse global teams
  • Confidence in working with Senior management
  • Willingness to undertake some domestic / international travel (as required)
Job OfferUp to £550 a day outside IR35Hybrid working6 Month contract
