We’re working on an exciting new position with one of Europe’s fastest growing retail businesses on a new and exciting hire for their digital team. On the verge of implementing Oracle Netsuite across the business they’re seeking a talented data engineer/software developer to help them capture and organise their various streams of data into their new ERP system so they can drive much more accurate data driven commercial business decisions .The role is a new position and as such they’re keen to bring in somebody educated and talented with the right core basic skills in SQL and Javascript, who can then learn some of the other elements of the role in particular suitescript/suiteflow for Netsuite. As they’re a digital retail business it’s essential candidates have exposure to the ecommerce and online marketplace industry as this is where their data will come from.Candidates can either be graduates with a couple of years relevant experience or more experienced developers looking for an exciting Cambridge based position. Whilst not essential any exposure to python, HTML, CSS and other programming languages would be an advantage.This is a real opportunity to join a company at the start of a major phase of growth, where you will be nurtured and allowed the freedom to lean new languages and systems on the job. Fir the right candidate as one of the first role in this new data team there will also be career growth and development opportunities in both the short and long term.
