Job Description

CompanyOur client, a leading employer in Cambridge are currently recruiting for a Data Engineer to join them on a permanent basis. Founded in 2010 and employing over 140 people, they deliver an industry-leading platform to customers across the world.Role

  • Launch, productionise and maintain AWS instances, ensuring smooth running of python code and cloud based machine learning models
  • Develop and maintain ETL processes that feed from various data sources (SQLs, APIs etc.)
  • Be responsible for productionising and maintaining critical APIs and various web applications
  • Connect to databases, perform data management tasks and integrate structured datasets from different sources
  • Work directly with stakeholders in being responsible for the lifecycle of a given feature
  • Solve business problems in a growing and ever-changing technology environment using a modern technology stack
    • YouThe ideal candidate will have most of the following:
  • Familiarity with cloud services (ideally AWS)
  • Knowledge of a scripting language (ideally Python)
  • Git management & installation
  • Understanding of operating systems and basic Linux Knowledge
