Job Description

DATA ANALYST TECH COMPANYCAMBRIDGE WITH FLEXIBLE WORKING£35,000-50,000 DOEA tech company with an innovative product offering utilising AI and AR technology are looking for a bright and curious Data Analyst to join their team.THE COMPANYThis company are a disruptor brand in the tech space with bases in both the UK and US. They are pioneering AI and deep learning to disrupt their industry and offer consumers something new with a customer centric product.THE ROLEIf you were to be successful in your application for this Data Analyst role, your responsibilities would include:

  • Own and extend the business reporting and KPI measurement. This would include diagnostic KPIs on the product and how it is performing as its evolving
  • Getting involved in bespoke analytical projects outside of reporting as well as using data to solve different problems in the business
  • Support their vision to create enhanced customer experiences including conducting research on the market they operate in
  • Using SQL to query the data as well as Power BI to create visualisations and dashboard
    • SKILLS AND EXPERIENCEIn order for your application for the BI Analyst to be successful you will need;
  • Strong SQL coding skills and the ability to analyse data and spot patterns and imperfections
  • Ideally a knowledge of a reporting tool such as Power BI (not a make or break) but equally a commercial awareness and being able to design and develop commercial metrics to be measured and their importance and value.
  • Ideally a numeric background and strong academics within a STEM subject
  • An inquisitive mindset and a thirst for learning- this isnt just something on the job spec, this person genuinely needs to be a self starter and very pro active in return this role is a great opportunity for learning with great opportunities for development and autonomy.
