Sense is looking for an experienced Community Fundraising Manager to join our team to work with and find new supporters within the London and East of England region. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week.Job Title: Community Fundraising ManagerRef: 45026Location: Homeworking, CambridgeSalary: £30,028 per annumHours: 37.5 hours per week, full timeContract type: PermanentAbout the roleThe role will be home based in the East of England area, supporting fundraisers locally as well as our shops and key services in the region. We will expect the right candidate to be willing to travel within the region, building strong relationships and tailoring the support for local businesses, individuals and groups.Our key services in this region are based in North London, Cambridge and Luton.You will be joining a supportive team that works across regions and income streams to deliver the best possible experience for our growing number of supporters.The Community and Events teams meet regularly and so travel will be required on a monthly basis to either our Head Office in London (King’s Cross) or our offices in Birmingham (Selly Oak).About youWe are looking for an enthusiastic, ambitious and engaging person who will help to proactively grow our income and develop excellent supporter relationship. You will have great communication skills and feel confident in speaking to people over the phone and in person, including giving presentations to current and prospective supporters. You will be self-motivated and ideally have experience of and be comfortable working within a remotely based team from home.You will also have a strong track record of meeting and exceeding targets and of working with income budgets including forecasting and mitigation planning.This role will require access to a car and a full UK driving license and team members are reimbursed for their mileage.
