Job Description

My client is looking to recruit a Commercial Executive to join their Commercial Team, with responsibility for full commercial activity but with particular focus on planning, researching, and implementing the marketing and sales of company products.As market leaders and over 25 years’ experience in their field they provide both operational services and IT solutions to clients in the UK and across Europe. You will need a high degree of self-motivation and determination to succeed within this role andin addition, you will be planned and methodical with your daily activities ensuring all tasks are executed to the highest standards.Role Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing marketing campaigns for products and services.
  • Analysing markets to target for campaigns.
  • Maintaining the company website and social media with news and marketing information.
  • Contributing information, ideas, and research to develop marketing strategies.
  • Tracking marketing data and carrying out analysis to optimise future campaigns.
  • Attending trade shows and travels to meet clients and prospects as needed.
  • Assisting (or leading) new sales enquiries, including the full process from enquiry to contract account management and organising and leading meetings with clients to discuss current and future requirements.
  • Increasing the company contact with the market to gain a greater understanding of customer requirements.
What is on offer:To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and some experience in B2B marketing or account management ideally gained in the IT or energy sector however this is not essential. What is more essential is ahigh degree of self-motivation and determination to succeed within this role and in addition, you will be planned and methodical with your daily activities ensuring all tasks are executed to the highest standards.You will also be able to negotiate contracts and pricing structures and be willing to travel to client sites throughout Europe and the UK. The role offers a basic salary of £35k but there could be flexibility depending on experience + potential bonus and27 days holidays.Based in their office close to Cambridge railway station, the role can allow a certain amount of WFH, but it is expected that at least 80% of the time will be spent in the office.
