Job Description

This is an exciting role in the ieso Care team, responsible for leading on the planning, development, delivery and evaluation of clinical training for a large network of PWPs and CBT therapists. Use of a wide range of processes including webinars, e-learning,face-to-face workshops and specialist supervision will be key to ensure that all ieso clinicians have the training and skillset to deliver high quality care and engage in new digital technologies, alongside our ground-breaking research and data science. Reporting to: Clinician Engagement and Innovation DirectorJob Type: Full time, but part-time hours may be considered Location: Home- or office-based Responsibilities:Training and education:

  • To plan, develop and deliver a bespoke ongoing programme of clinical training for the clinician network which is new, engaging, interactive and inclusive of the latest research and digital developments, both from within ieso and around the world.
  • To plan, develop and deliver training for clinical trials alongside other members of the clinical team, understanding the pipeline and requirements of digital products and clinical trials.
  • To convey complex information and ideas to clinicians in an engaging and interactive way using a range of methods of delivery.
  • To develop and deliver bespoke training packages to improve the quality of care delivered and clinical outcomes.
  • To develop an induction and new therapist training package.
  • To liaise with external and internal speakers/trainers, working closely with the marketing and communications team to organise training events.
  • To develop a process and system for monitoring training engagement, application and impact.
  • To gather feedback on training needs from clinicians and supervisors.
  • To develop links with training institutions and national NHS training programmes and understand the national plans for clinical trainings.
  • To consider online forums and methods of communication for clinicians.
Content support:
  • To support our Marketing team and other stakeholders with clinical content.
  • Ensure that all training resources, protocols and policies are easily accessible in one central location.
Clinical work
  • To maintain a small clinical caseload.
  • To utilise and promote evidence-based literature and emerging clinical practice throughout the service.
RequirementsEssential
  • Professional postgraduate qualification in CBT.
  • BABCP Accreditation.
  • Training in CBT supervision.
  • Experience of working in adult psychological therapies services and treating common mental health problems with CBT interventions.
  • Expert knowledge of clinical guidelines, evidence-based literature and psychological theories and models.
  • Experience of developing and delivering training to psychological practitioners.
  • Knowledge of different learning styles and training methods.
  • Ability to passionately engage and inspire clinicians.
  • Ability to convey complex information and ideas verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrably passionate about research and digital technology.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Creative and innovative.
  • Positive attitude to collaborative teamwork.
Desirable
  • BABCP Accredited Trainer.
  • Teaching qualification.
  • Additional training in Clinical Supervision, CBT, DBT, ACT, or other psychological therapies.
  • Experience of public speaking at conferences and other events.
  • Experience using a range of training methods including online delivery.
  • Experience conducting research and/or partaking in research trials.
  • Experience of psychological therapy delivered by typed modality.
