Here in Cambridge, we are blessed with having some of the worlds most impressive industrial-academic research facilities and this part of the University boasts some of the most up-to-date equipment for use in nanomaterial research.The role The ONE Group are recruiting for is a Cleanroom & Facilities Technician. Initially funded for 2 years, this position is likely to be long term and will allow you to collaborate and engage with world-famous researchers and talentedacademics, as they work to discover worlds-first applications for nanomaterials.Your role will be to support research staff with control and safe handling and use of processing equipment. This will also include modifying gas handling systems and supply, monitoring temperature, water supply, solar energy generation and AV facilities.Other duties will be ensuring the safe storage and cataloguing of equipment, PCs and laptops, as well as office furniture. You will also get involved with the hands-on processing of materials for research.About You:
