Social Enterprise Supervisor - Overstream CleanLocation: CambridgeHours: 37.5 Hours p/weekSalary: £25,565 p/annumAnnual Leave: 25 days, plus bank holidaysOur client supports those with experience of homelessness by offering essential welfare services, social, learning and work opportunities to enable people to achieve their potential.This Social Enterprise, Overstream Clean, is part of their charity and is a business providing efficient, quality cleaning, gardening and garden maintenance services in and close to Cambridge city. The business provides skills training and gives volunteering and paid work opportunities to people with experience, or at risk, of homelessness.They are looking for an experienced Supervisor to run the cleaning and gardening business. The role involves managing the team of operatives, and reporting to the Business Manager. The key objectives for the role are to ensure that they maximise the opportunities to their service users for volunteering and paid work, to maximise the commercial margin we make from the business, and to ensure that they record the work that they do and the social outcomes they achieve.The successful applicant will need to have experience of supervising people with a positive, can-do attitude, and the ability to relate to hard-to-reach people.
