The College is seeking to appoint a reliable and flexible Cleaner/Handyperson to join our Housekeeping team. You will carry out a range of cleaning duties in communal areas and throughout the courts in order to maintain the Trinity environment. Principalduties will include the collection of rubbish, sweeping and de-cobwebbing the courts, collecting confidential shredding sacks from offices, helping with departmental deliveries, assisting the seamstress in hanging curtains and carrying laundry to courts whenrequired.The post holder will undertake physical repetitive manual activities which includes climbing staircases on a daily basis. A large proportion of duties are undertaken outside, sometimes in inclement weather.You must be comfortable working as part of a team, as well as able to work independently, organising your time without continuous supervision. The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate the ability to be observant and deliver high standards ofservice. Good communication skills are essential, as the successful candidate must be able to communicate with a wide variety of people as well as follow written and verbal instructions.The post holder must have a clean and tidy appearance. A uniform (including PPE) will be provided and should be worn at all times whilst working.Standard working hours are 39 per week worked Monday to Friday.Salary £20,378 per annum. In addition to the salary, we offer a benefits package, which includes contributory pension scheme, non-contributory health insurance and a meal whilst on duty.The closing date is Thursday 23 June 2022.
