Job Description

An excellent opportunity for an experienced Cladding Estimator to join a well-established company.Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent.Location: Cambridge, CB23.Salary: £30,000 - £60,000 Per Annum, Depending on Experience.Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm, Office Based.About The Company:With over 40 years combined experience, creating high quality cladding, refurbishment and new build services for commercial and industrial clients.Due to continual growth the company as now looking to recruit an experienced Cladding Estimator to join their team.Key Duties (But not limited too):

  • Dealing with various roofing and cladding systems including: composite panels, twin skin metal systems, standing seam, single ply membranes, and rainscreen facades.
  • Reviewing tender enquiries and specifications to gain an understanding of project requirements.
  • Liaising with clients to acquire any additional information required.
  • Liaise with suppliers and manufactures to obtain competitive prices.
  • Producing formal quotations to clients.
  • Keep good documentation of tenders and quotations on internal database.
  • Build and maintain relationships with contractors and vendors.
  • Prioritising workload to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Estimating for projects ranging in value from £100k to £2m.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Must have estimating experience within the roofing and cladding market sector.
  • Must have a good understanding of technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • High levels of organisation and attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic, team player, who works well individually also.
