They are a local, community-based housing association, and are passionate about providing great services and safe, well-maintained and affordable homes to customers.With the planned retirement of the current Chair, they have a great opportunity to welcome a new Chair of our Board. This is an exciting time for the group and they are seeking someone who shares their values, believes in the importance of social housing and can help lead the organisation to deliver further success.It is not essential that applicants have a social housing background, or have been a Chair of a housing organisation before, but applicants should have a commitment to customer service, a knowledge of what makes for good governance, the ability to chair effectively and excellent communication and leadership skills.They are looking for candidates that are passionate about making a difference to the people and communities they serve.
