Cell Culture ScientistCambridgeshireTemporary (3 months)Full time hoursMy client is a leading Biotechnology company in the Cambridgeshire area and due to recent expansion and a growing demand, they are currently looking for multiple Cell Culture Scientists to join the company on both temporary contracts. Key duties of the Cell Culture roles will involve maintaining, growing and genetically engineering a range of mammalian cells (largely cancer cells). These are Scientist and Senior Scientist level roles and my client is looking for experienced candidates.The ideal Cell Culture Scientist will meet the following criteria:- Be educated to Bsc/Msc/PhD level within a Life Science subject- Have hands on experience working with a range of mammalian cell lines (ideally a minimum of 3 different cell lines)- Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment- Have excellent communication skillsDesirable skills:- Have good experience with a broad range of molecular and/or genetics techniques such as: DNA extraction, flow cytometry and PCR- Experience with CRISPR-Cas9 If this sounds like a role you would be interested in then please apply below
