By providing patients with effective and accessible treatments, we strive to improve the quality of life for people aroundthe globe.Position Overview We are currently seeking a dynamic Business Operations Specialist to play a pivotal role in managing diverse tasks and supporting our expansive growth initiatives, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations. The role is diverse and varied, with each day presentingunique challenges that you embrace.Your role spans across various functions with the primary objective being to manage vital operational activities and to support strategic projects. You will execute tactical tasks and some strategic tasks with guidance from the leadership team.You will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for filtering out distractions for the executive so they can proactively address key topics. You will maintain a high level of discretion and professionalism when dealing with confidential and sensitiveinformation.This is a full-time, on-site position and we expect you to be in our Cambridge office. You will own external relationships and contracts with suppliers and advisors, such as legal counsel, accountants, service providers, insurers, and auditors.Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary key holder and point of contact for the site, liaising with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams.
  • Undertake administrative duties as and when required with the possibility to build and lead an administrative team as the organization expands.
  • Provide comprehensive support for various operational requirements, prioritizing tasks that require leadership input and supervision.
  • Develop and present reports, presentations, and analyses to facilitate decision-making.
  • Manage document workflow, ensure timely signatures and accurate record-keeping.
  • Analyse and enhance processes to elevate operational efficiency, creating and updating policies and procedures while ensuring compliance.
Requirements
  • Minimum one year of hands-on experience in comparable roles.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, displaying efficiency, organisation, and "get the job done" work ethic.
  • Ability to research and analyse information, communicating results and recommendations in a clear, professional, and responsive manner.
  • Strategic mindset, focused on problem-solving and process optimization, with keen attention to detail and a commitment to excellence.
  • Proactive, inquisitive nature, demonstrating the ability to take ownership of tasks and lead by example.
  • Good teamwork skills, coupled with the ability to quickly adapt to a constantly changing and fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
  • Proficient in using office software, MS Office suite, and other relevant tools.
Bonus Points
  • Knowledge of other functions/duties including finance, executive assistance, procurement, and people operations.
  • Experience in a fast-growing health- or tech-based startup, with exposure to project management, quality management, grant applications, and international projects.
  • Fluency in a second language, especially German or Swedish.
