We are currently looking for a Bioinformatics Scientist to join a leading Biotech company based in the Cambridgeshire area focusing on the fight against Cancer. As the Bioinformatics Scientist you will be responsible for taking raw data and building Bioinformatics pipelines including all QC activities KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Your duties as the Bioinformatics Scientist will be varied however the key duties and responsibilities are as follows:1. As the Bioinformatics Scientist you will take raw data and build a Bioinformatics pipeline including QC to allow for the analysis of informatic data 2. You will contribute to the development of novel methodologies and algorithms for the analysis of ctDNA3. You will need to be confident of developing Bioinformatic pipelines in Python and R 4. You will analyse, summarize and interpret NGS data sets using existing and customized approaches and contribute to technology development by providing insights into computational solutions and identifying suitable workflowsROLE REQUIREMENTS:To be successful in your application to this exciting opportunity as the Bioinformatics Scientist we are looking to identify the following on your profile and past history:1. PHD or equivalent in Bioinformatics or similar computational biology subject 2. Experienced in NGS Next Generation Sequencing 3.
