Job Description

As a Bank Care Assistant at Excelcare for our Care Homes throughout Cambridge, youll assist people living with us to enjoy a fulfilled, comfortable, and happy life receiving the care and support they deserve.As one of the Regional Bank Staff Team youll provide physical and emotional support in daily activities which will include getting up and dressed in the mornings, help with mealtimes, bed time routines, engaging in fun activities in fact whatever it takesto make a real difference every day.Youll become part of a great staff teamin fact youll be one of the Excelcare familythats how we see everyone who joins us. Offering great care every day is central to everything we do.What you can expect:Salary: Up to £9.75 p/h

  • Flexible shifts days and nights providing cover when needed such as for sickness or annual leave.
  • 8am to 8pm and 8pm to 8am weekdays and weekends available to suit your personal circumstances.
  • Shifts available in Histon, Cottenham, Huntingdon, Central Cambridge and St Ives.
What we require from you:Ideally Bank Care Assistants will have some experience in a care environment either in a care home, as a home care worker or caring for a loved one.However - whatever your knowledge or experience, as long as you have a can-do approach, good communication skills and a caring attitude we will ensure you have the right support and training for the role.
