We are looking forBank Care Assistants to join the Excelcare family in Cambridge to be part of the Regional Bank Staff Team for our Care Homes in Whittlesey, Histon, Cottenham, Wisbech, Huntingdon, Cambridge Town Centre and St Ives. This role offers flexibility to suit your personal circumstances.Pay rates up to £9.75 p/h (dependent on qualifications and experience)Shifts are 12 hours from 8am – 8pm/8pm – 8am.You will be able to accept shifts as and when available. About youYou will either have previous professional experience in a care environment – care home/domiciliary care or you will have supported a family member. Ideally you will have an NVQ Level 2 or equivalent qualification.You will be delivering the highest quality, individual care to the people who live within our services and be kind, loyal and committed to making a difference every day.About the role:As a Care Assistant you will work as part of a team providing physical, emotional, spiritual and social support. You will continually promote independence, choice, dignity and respect to the people living our homes by delivering the very best standards of care.Supporting people with personal care such as washing, personal hygiene, dressing and assisting with meals.
