Role: Automated Test EngineerLocation: Norwich / RemoteSalary: £40,000 - £45,000Were working with an award-winning Life-sciences tech company with a base in Cambridge, who are looking to expand their test team with 2 additional hires. The business are a leading technology business with a number of leading platforms within the data/ machine learning space and are backed by a multi-billion pound parent company. With a fantastic product, and the financial backing to help drive the business forward, the company are going from strength-to-strength and need to continue to hire talent to help them realise their potential. Were looking to hire 2 new test analysts with automation experience to sit within the technology team and help move the test estate forward. The company have a strong product set, with some exciting new platforms being launched within the data and machinelearning arena.As part of the technology team, youll play key roles within the software development lifecycle from Design-to-delivery to ensure the work is both reliable and robust.Duties include:- Run manual and automated tests- Write and execute test scripts (TestRail)- Provide QA over business processes- Discuss test outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders alike- Work as part of a dedicated Scrum team to deliver quality customer support.Skills / Experience:- Selenium- Testing of Java based systems / Java based automation frameworks- Good understanding of BDD / TDD- Deployment tool knowledge - Maven, Docker, GIT, Jenkins etc.- Ideally experience testing cloud based technologies- Able to take ownership of testing duties within your area / teamWhats in it for you:The client offer the chance to tackle real-world challenges within science and medicine, helping to drive an interesting and engaging work environment.
