We are driven by science and the need to offer new therapies that improve the lives of patients with debilitating diseases. This is a great opportunity to join in our effort to understand biology of the lung and make a difference to people’s lives every day.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:We are looking for a motivated new member of the team, able to learn and grow in our organisation. The successful candidate will provide broad laboratory support for ongoing projects.

  • A team player able to collaborate on multiple projects
  • Support single cell analysis studies by learning wet lab scRNA technologies
  • Work under manager’s supervision to carry out tissue culture and sample testing.
  • Accurately record and assess all data generated in course of analyses with a high attention to detail
  • Solve technical and logistical challenges
  • Ensures that work is performed in accordance with appropriate Safety, Health & Environment (SHE), quality and compliance standards
  • Excellent communication with manager and team
  • Education, Skills and Qualifications:
  • HND, BSc (or equivalent) in Biochemistry, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology or a related field in Biological Science, plus a minimum of 2 years relevant laboratory experience
  • Work experience in Pharma/Biotech industry is desirable
  • Required Skills:
  • Mammalian cell culture
  • Experience in molecular biology methods (PCR, nucleic acid purification)
  • Experience with data organization and basic statistical analysis.
  • Demonstrate strong organization, record keeping and communication skills
  • Desired Skills:
  • Epithelial cell culture experience
  • Some experience of scRNA wet lab
  • Experience in immunologic assays (flow cytometry, ELISA, western blot), eukaryotic cell culture
  • Self-motivated problem solver who can carry out experiments with limited supervision
