Interim Deputy Operations Manager (Accounts & HR)Cambridge£20 - £25 per hourThis Cambridge-based organisation are looking for interim cover while they go through a period of transition and plan to recruit a permanent member of staff. This could lead to a permanent role and successfully candidate will be encouraged to apply.The role itself is an operations role that will involve areas of Accounting, HR and general management. You will manage multiple complex projects and large budgets, as well as acting as the HR point of contact for the division. As such we are looking for someone with excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills.Your responsibilities will include:• Project management, ensuring that projects run to time and within budget, that milestones, deliverables and reporting requirements are met, and liaising with key stakeholders.• Responsible for the management of financial resources, ensuring that spending is line with strategy, advising on financial issues, and creating and monitoring budgets.• Working with Management and Director of Operations to formulate and implement strategy.• Management of HR for your division of the busines, dealing with any issues that may arise.• Provision of HR advice to staff on matters such as team development, recruitment, occupational health and absence.• Management of recruitment and induction activities, advising hiring managers, on process and best practice, and sitting on interview panels where appropriate.• Responsible for identifying strategic funding opportunities.• Line management and supervision of staff in the Operations Group.This interim position may suit an experienced Accounting professional with some HR experience, or vice versa.
