Job Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our clients based in Central Cambridge who are recruiting for an Assistant Accountant on a full-time permanent basis. The role will be on a hybrid basis and offer excellent opportunities to progress in the future.Typical duties include:

  • Assisting with the production of month end accounts
  • Processing invoices and reconciling payments
  • Ensuring all data is collated and stored accurately
  • Supporting company growth by continually looking to improve processes
  • Assisting with profit and loss reporting and providing analysis where applicable
  • Working closely with the FC to provide financial insight to finance and non finance stakeholders
  • Supporting the day-to-day finance function with any other ad-hoc tasks
You will have:
  • Minimum AAT Level 4 with desire to further studies if not already started
  • Strong Excel skillset
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal
  • Experience in a similar role
