Area Sales Manager - Artificial GrassJob Title: Area Sales Manager - Artificial GrassIndustry Sector: Landscape Contractors, Landscapers, Artificial Grass, Artificial Lawn, Schools, Builders Merchants, Merchants, Playground Equipment, Sport Surfaces, Hard Landscaping, Landscaping Design, Heavyside Building ProductsArea to be covered: Northern Home Counties and East Anglia(Oxford, Northampton, Peterborough across to the wash)Remuneration: £30,000 - £35,000 + commission giving OTE £50,000 first year Benefits: company car or car allowance and full benefits packageThe role of the Area Sales Manager - Artificial Grass will involve:

  • Field sales position selling a high quality distributed range of artificial grass
  • All of your time will be spent selling to builders merchants, landscapers and distributors
  • Projects will vary in size however quite often work on project circa £50k-£60k
  • Once up and running will be expected to turnover circa £500k
  • Great internal sales support from new newly hired people
  • Covering as large patch across the South (Bristol to London)
  • Produce surveyors and drawings on site
  • Working closely with the NSM
The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Artificial Grass with:
  • Ideally have construction field sales experience OR work for a builders merchants looking to step onto the road
  • Would consider someone in field sales from outside the construction industry
  • Comfortable in a small company environment
  • Contacts within small landscaping contractors and builder merchants is not essential but may be advantageous
  • Knowledge of artificial grass is not required as full product training will be provided
  • Related product experience with the likes of: sports surfaces, play area, play equipment, outdoor exercise equipment or hard landscaping products may be of interest
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Genuine get up and go work ethic
