Job Description

Required: Proven Application / Software Support for Cloud-based technologies, particularly AWS; knowledge of Python ScriptingRapidly expanding high tech company requires an experienced Application Support Specialist to provide support for Cloud / AWS hosted data solutions. Joining a newly created team, this is an exciting time to join the team as they continue to scale at an incrediblerate.Key Duties:

  • Providing highest levels of support and service to inhouse Support & Development teams, ensuring issues are understood clearly and resolved quickly
  • Investigating issues by interrogating logs, data sources and APIs, escalating to correct teams
  • Basic development of operational scripts to automate processes
  • Supporting data uploads from telemetry devices to AWS
Experience & Skills Required:
  • Proven experience within an Application Support role, providing first-class support for Cloud / AWS applications (including EC2, RDS, S3, Athena and Lambda)
  • Knowledge of Python Scripting language (or similar)
  • Knowledge of JIRA ticketing systems and ITIL & Service Management would be highly advantageous
  • First class communication skills with the ability to work within a fast-paced, complex environment
