Job Description

Analytical Chemistry Team LeaderWe are currently looking for an Analytical Chemistry Team Leader to join a leading Analytical Chemistry testing company in Cambridgeshire.As an Analytical Chemistry Team Leader, you will lead a team of Laboratory Technicians and Analytical chemists performing analysis on a range of environmental samples using techniques such as GC, GC-MS, ICP or ICP-MSDuties include:

  • Manage a team of Analytical Chemists to ensure all work is carried out to the required standards (UKAS and ISO 17025).
  • Support troubleshooting and coach Analysts in techniques such as GC, GC-MS, GC-FID, HPLC or ICP.
  • Manage the laboratory including stock ordering and ensure instruments are ready for use.
  • Manage work loads and work with other managers and Analytical Team Leaders to ensure all work is carried out.
