Job Description

Air Tightness & Acoustic Tester - CambridgePenguin Recruitment is proud to be representing an independent Compliance Service company in their search for an established Air Tightness & Acoustic Test Engineer to join the team around the Cambridge region. My client is seeking an experienced candidateas the firm was established within the last year so the selected applicant will assist in the technical development of the team and workload!Candidates are required to have a full UK driving licence due to the nature of the role. You will be expected to be office based in the first few months on the job, so it is essential candidates are around Cambridge.Requirements:

  • Knowledge of UK building regulations.
  • CSCS Card.
  • Demonstrable experience having undertaken various Air and Acoustic tests - my client will consider applicants with 6 months+ of experience.
Daily duties:
  • Undertake airtightness, sound insulation and ventilation performance tests.
  • Liaise with site management.
  • Undertake site visits.
  • Prepare reports and present findings to clients.
  • Undertake any relevant consultancy services if required.
