Job Description

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to work for a highly reputable legal firm based in Cambridge. With several offices based around the UK, this Accounts Receivable Manager (13 month FTC) will be a key figure within the finance function.Client DetailsOur Cambridge based client are one of the market leaders within the UK and will be looking for an Accounts Receivable Manager (13 month FTC) to come in and work to the high standard of the organization. Managing a team this will also be a chance for youto showcase your experience and skills to impact the business for the foreseeable future.DescriptionThe key duties will be but not restricted to:

  • To maximise the recovery from difficult debts
  • To ensure the revenue and credit control (including debt recovery) teams provide excellent client experience, both to our internal and external clients
  • Become an expert user of the client and matters, billing, and credit control systems
  • Work with the accounts receivable & debt recovery teams to develop effective processes to manage WIP, minimising the involvement of business leaders where possible
  • Work with the billing team leader, billing assistants, and e-billing specialist to ensure that all proformas are managed in accordance with the billing and delivery polices and to further develop e-billing expertise
  • Work with the credit control team leader, credit controllers and consultant to ensure that all unpaid bills are chased in accordance with the agreed chasing pattern and escalated accordingly
ProfileThe successful Accounts Receivable Manager (13 month FTC) will:
  • Have extensive management experience
  • Have previously worked in a professional services environment (although not essential)
  • Have proven experience of process improvements and changes
  • Be able to start a new role within 4 weeks of interview
Job OfferOn offer will be:
