Job Description

In 2020, our products reached approximately 500m patients worldwide.Job Purpose & Jobs to be DoneSupports the medical team in managing all relevant medical activities by managing designated medical projects from an operational, internal and external engagement perspective to drive high quality delivery of Sandoz integrated plans across several therapyareas on time and within budget

  • Builds a good knowledge of the different therapy areas, medical operations and information, the healthcare system and ABPI code of practice
  • Builds a good knowledge of the different compliance processes and systems to deliver projects, ensuring all projects are delivered to high quality and in compliance with ABPI code of practice and internal framework
  • Acquire understanding and capability in Sandoz compliance system (P3), materials approval system (FUSE) and medical information
  • Supports activities and logistics as part of the Medical Affairs Plans such as medical education meetings and projects, advisory boards, digital initiatives and congress excellence
  • Supports the medical information function enquiry handling process for the different brands and therapy areas
  • Supports the Medical Affairs team to leverage clinical/scientific data to:
  • Support the TA franchise by reviewing promotional and non-promotional materials, to check the scientific integrity of content
  • Support the delivery of medical plans by uploading and referencing medical educational materials in the internal approval system
  • Support the development of high quality and timely briefing materials/training on relevant appropriate data and may deliver internal training as required
  • Provides administrative support as required for example:
    • Budget management for projects and logistics
    • Setup of vendors, purchase orders
    • Healthcare professional management including contracts and travel
    • Co-ordination of team meetings
    • Organisation of itineraries and logistics for ongoing activities
    • Compilation of materials and information as needed

We are looking for an individual who can meet the following criteria:
  • Educated to degree level in Life Sciences, preferably Medicine or Pharmacy
  • Experience within UK healthcare and /or pharmaceuticals environment is strongly preferred
  • Clear motivation and ambition to gain experience in a medical affairs environment within generics and biosimilars
  • Ability to evidence skills which are transferrable to the business environment (e.g., good time management, teamwork) experience of successfully working with teams through work, academic and/or extracurricular activities
  • You will be able to demonstrate
    • Proactivity - ability to work independently and proactively under own initiative, taking responsibility and driving projects and activities to a successful conclusion
    • Curiosity - openness to absorb information and learn new systems in a short period of time and proactively seek clarity and information from different stakeholders

  • Fluency in English - verbal and written - is required
  • You will be IT savvy and highly proficient with Microsoft office (Outlook, Excel, PPT skills and Word at Advanced Level)
Additional InformationPlease ensure that you are willing and able to live within commutable distance of the company site before applying. This placement is based in Camberley in Surrey and we would like you to be in the office a minimum 2 days per week, to aid your developmentin working with and learning from your team.
