Job Description

As the Junior Finance Assistant, you will become a core team member for Finance, Supply chain & IT You will assist the Financial Controller, AR, AP & customer services with day-to-day responsibilities & ad hoc requests. This is a fantastic role for someonestarting their career in Accountancy and looking to study a qualification.Client DetailsMy client is a market leader within the alcohol industry. They have recently moved to their new office in London Bridge and are starting an exciting period of growth.DescriptionAs the Finance Assistant you will be responsible for the following:

  • Assist with financial reporting - Balance sheet and P&L
  • Assist with balance sheet and cashflow knowledge
  • Assist with posting of cash into SAP for AR (Match to remit)
  • Assist with Input of invoices into SAP for AP (Match to POs)
  • Maintain Customer, Product and pricing master data
  • Monitor the customer service inbox
  • Support process improvements to facilitate high quality financial reporting
  • Support Financial Controller with ad-hoc requests
ProfileA successful Finance Assistant should have:
  • A level or Degree in a business / accounting / mathematical subject
  • Excel knowledge (Pivot tables / Look ups / Sumifs)
  • Great attention to detail with large datasets
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills#
  • Desire to work within the alcohol industry in a company with an exciting culture
