We are looking for an experienced design/sales engineer. The candidate would need to be from an engineering background. This position is preferably aimed at an experienced designer but may suit someone looking to make their first step into more of an office-based role from a senior engineering or supervisory level, that has suitable experience and a demonstrable history in design, including producing documentation.The candidate would need to have experience in large-scale, networked, commercial applications. Experience with networked systems, I.P networks and integrated solutions is a must.The role will involve the candidate working with both new business and existing clients to provide design and estimation support. Working with business development managers, contract managers and bid managers the candidate would be expected to meet with clients and present technical solutions. Following on from point of order, the candidate would work with the engineering team to mobilise works and handover all technical design information. Then, at the tail end of the project, verify the scope of the works with the commissioning engineers and sign off the end to end design of the system.Design EngineerJob Description
