Accounts Assistant, Camberley, £22,000 – £26,000 + BenefitsThis is an excellent opportunity for a well skilled, all-round Accounts Assistant to join the small friendly and stable finance team at an established and successful business in Camberley. Working for the Finance Manager in this busy and varied role you will be tasked with a mixture of:Credit control, Accounts Payable invoice posting, Supplier payment runs, Sending monthly statements, Raising Sales Ledger invoices, Journal entries, VAT returns, Intrastat reporting, Customer credit checking, Query handling and resolution plus various ad hoc accounts admin duties in support of the department (filing, archiving etc). The client will be happy to bring the new starter up to speed on any areas that they may be missing as long as the majority of skills are there already.In addition to the all-round accounts experience including ledgers and credit control, this role will suit someone with good numeracy skills and experience of Excel, Word, Office (full training on the in-house / accounting system will be given) who is reliable, motivated, enthusiastic and able to prioritise. The client is very keen to recruit a team player and someone who can take ownership of their tasks and who is not afraid to pick up the phone and talk to people.The client is really looking for someone to commit in the long term and as such the role will not suit anyone looking for swift career advancement.Hours of work are 8.30-5pm (ideally) plus 25 days holiday, pension, private health, death in service and free on-site parking.
