An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Occupational Therapist to develop their skills in the acute hospital setting, providing specialist management of patients referred to the Out-patient Rheumatology & Orthopaedic services.You will be working with an established and supportive team of qualified Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists. You will hold a varied out-patient caseload, and provide specialist assessment, diagnosis and treatment of predominantly adults and some paediatrics, supporting them to manage their conditions. This is to include the prescription and fitting of splints and braces.As a team we are committed to support each other and maintain high standards of care within our clinical practice. The post will provide the successful candidate with the opportunity to develop their knowledge of Rheumatological & Orthopaedic conditions through close working with the wider MDT involved in the management of this client group.
