Job Description

Management AccountantCallington£27- £35KA established British business in the Callington area is looking is looking to expand their finance team with a Management Accountant. This position will support the management accountants team with analysis and reporting. This is an established business,where you will be part of a pure management accounting team, that offers a supportive team & progression, with the opportunity to develop your career in management accounting.The position involves:

  • Production of the consolidated site Weekly Accounts
  • Input, check and reconcile data relating to the weekly accounts
  • Analyse the material variances, identifying and investigating major variances
  • Complete and issue weekly required reports in a timely manner.
  • Reconciliation of the weekly to monthly consolidation process
  • Write and issue commentary for the weekly accounts pack
  • Complete direct labour variance analysis, and liaise with Operations managers
  • Assist in budget and forecasting activities where required
  • Complete Costings (including new product launches).
The position is 37.5 hours per week - thats full time, but with the flexibility to work from home and in office - 2 days per week will be in office. On days when you do need to go to the office there is free parking.You will be:
  • CIMA/ ACCA or Part CIMA Qualified. Qualified by experience will be considered.
  • You need to have commercial management accounting experience
  • Manufacturing knowledge will put you ahead of the crowd in your application
