Job Description

YOUNG PEOPLES CASE WORKERIMMEDIATELY REQUIRED TO WORK IN CAERPHILLYLocation: Caerphilly.Hours:30 hours/week.Duration: Temporary.Start: January 2024.Are you looking to support young people and their families through providing wellbeing services Are you dedicated to making a lasting positive impact within the community. If so BRC are recruiting for a Young Peoples Case Worker to join a fantasticteam in Caerphilly. This charity provides emotional and practical to support young people and their families who may be experiencing behavioral issues or mental health difficulties. This role involves creating and delivering bespoke care packages to clients to ensure that theyare receiving the support that they require. You will be working with clients to help improve their self-esteem and confidence, as well as encouraging the continued development of their independence. You will be managing a caseload of individuals and workingalongside senior family practitioners. You will also be assisting clients to set personal goals and offer the right support to help them to achieve these.Your responsibilities would include but are not limited to:

  • Delivering practical and compassionate support.
  • Building confidence and a positive attitude.
  • Working with a caseload.
  • Providing coping strategies.
  • Encouraging individuals to establish and maintain a community support network.
  • Taking responsibility for managing your own case load.
  • Working alongside senior family practitioners.
  • Ensuring that all information is correctly recorded.
  • Ensuring safeguarding measures are in place.
To be successful in this position you will need to have previous experience working with vulnerable young people. You will be a collaborative individual able to work as part of a wider team. You will also be confident in managing your own workload and multitasking.We are looking for a flexible and cooperative individual who will be able to build and maintain strong relationships.This is a fantastic opportunity to work within an organisation whose projects are having a huge impact.
